Classification and production of aluminium foil roll

Aluminum foil roll can be divided into industrial aluminum foil and packaging aluminum foil. The chemical composition of industrial aluminum foil is relatively pure and its thickness is 0.005 to 0.2 millimeters. It is mainly used as capacitor, insulation material and moisture proof material in electrical industry and electronics industry. The packaging aluminum foil thickness is usually 0.007 to 0.1 millimeters with a variety of products such as flat foil, printed foil, color printing foil and paper foil, etc., mainly used as packaging materials for food, tea, paper tobacco and so on.

Aluminum foil billets from cold rolled aluminum coil, generally annealed at 340~480 degrees, are 0.4 to 0.7 millimeters thick. The deformation rate of rolling is about 50%, and the total deformation rate is above 95%. The foil aluminum paper with finished product thickness less than 0.01 ~ 0.02 mm should be coiled and double folded.

The minimum thickness of aluminum foil produced by the belt production method can reach 0.0025 millimeters with a width of 1800 millimeters. The roll of aluminum foil is rolled without roll gap, and the roll is always in an elastic flattening state. The aluminum foil thickness is controlled by adjusting rolling force, rolling speed and control tension during rolling.

When rolling, the thickness of the foil is controlled by rolling force; the thickness of the foil is thinner with the increase of the rolling speed; the greater the tension, the smaller the thickness. In order to prevent the broken piece, the tension selection is 0.2 ~ 0.4 of the conditional yield strength of the foil, which is 0.2.

The rolling thickness of aluminum foil sheet is often adjusted by adding "thick oil" or "thin oil" in lubricating oil at low speed rolling. The lubricant and roll state have a very important effect on the quality of aluminum foil tray.
